Monday, Sept. 2 – from 4:30 – 5:30 there will be a PARENT MEETING with a POOL PARTY for SWIMMERS for the Gold, Silver & All Bronze Group Families.  At the Parent meeting, Coach Mark will be discussing USA Swimming regulations, registration, Safe Sport, and ASC coaching philosophy, officiating opportunities and more. *Parents of New Senior Group Swimmers are welcome to join the parent meeting.

Notes: 

  1. If weather is an issue and practice needs to be cancelled, we will try to email 2 hours before practice.
  2.  Parents of Gold and younger groups, please let coaches know if your swimmer needs to leave early - that accountability piece. Thank you.

  • Bronze 1 - Wednesday 4 - 4:40 w/ Coach Barbara
  • Bronze 2 - Wednesday 4:45 - 5:25 w/ Coach Barbara
  • Bronze 3 - Wednesday & Thursday 5:30 - 6:30 w/Coach Amanda
  • Silver - Wednesday & Thursday 5:30 - 6:30 w/Coach Barbara
  • Gold - Tuesday Wednesday, Thursday 5:15 - 6:30 w/ Coach Kerry
  • Senior – Tues, Wed, Thurs & Fri - 3:30 - 5:15 w/Coach Mark & Kerry
  • Gold & Senior - Saturday – 7:30 – 9 AM w/Coach Kerry

USA 2025 Registration runs from Sept. 1, 2024 – Dec. 31, 2025.  Hopefully everyone received an email identifying their status with USA swimming.

  • Transfers – mailed to LSC registrar – no need to renew for 2025, yet – but Dec. 1
  • New to ASC / USA Swimming – please register asap
  • Returning to ASC after a break, not 2024 Registered – please register asap
  • Flex members having competed in 2 meets – please renew registration asap.
  • Flex members having competed in 1 meet - may renew 2025 now or before 3rd meet
  • All 2024 USA registered swimmers – no need to renew, yet - but Dec. 1

FIRST MEET – SEPT. 14 in KONA.  Please COMMIT or DECLINE, as it helps us track the swimmers.  We don't want anyone to miss out.   • Sept. 14: Kona, Big Island Swimming
  • Oct. 19:  Hilo, Big Island Swimming
  • Oct. 26-27: Bill Smith Invitational, Oahu – Qualifying Times Required
  • Nov. 2:  HPA, Big Island Swimming
  • Nov.15 – 17:  Senior Champs, Oahu – Qualifying Times Required
  • Dec. 7: Kona, Big Island Swimming
    • High School Season starts and there will be a piggy back meet one Saturday
  • Feb. 8: Big Island Swimming – Last Chance to Qualify for States / JAG
  • Feb. 20–23: Hawaii Age Group Champs, Kona – Qualifying Times Required
  • Mar. 8 & 9: Junior Age Group Champs, Maui – Qualifying Times Required
  • Mar. 20-23 – Senior Zones, Kona – Qualifying Times Required
