Congratulations to the HPA swimmers and divers who combined their efforts and skills to win the 2025 BIIF League Championships for both men and women. A plethora of best times and season bests, state qualifying times, and championship records were set. Good luck to the 20 swimmers advancing to States Feb. 14-15, on Oahu. Looking at the picture how many ASC swimmers, past and present do you recognize?
 

Practice Schedule this Week

  • Bronze 3 & Silver: 5:30 - 6:30, Mon, Wed & Thurs w/ Coaches Amanda & Barbara
  • Gold: 5:15 - 6:30 - Mon, Tues, Wed & Thurs w/Coach Kerry
  • Senior: Regular week of Practices with High School Coaches

This Saturday, Feb. 8: Big Island Swimming Meet at KCAC

ASC has 38 swimmers entering the meet.  We usually receive the timeline on Wednesday or Thursday and will update you re: warm-ups times, need for timers, help setting-up & taking down tents, etc.  

QUALIFIERS for AGE GROUP STATES (Kona) & JAGS (Kihei, Maui)

After the results from the Feb. 8 swim meet are imported to our database, you will receive an email if your swimmer is qualified for state champs or jags, or both.  Meet notices are posted on our website.

  • Feb. 27 - Mar. 2 - Hawaii State Age Group Champs
    • 11, 12, 13 & 14 year olds have different time standards for this meet and will be swam as single age divisions.
    • 10 & U / 15-18 are status quo - with criteria for bonus times 
    • 10 & U swim prelims & finals this year
    • A & B Finals
    • ALL swimmers with a CH time, may enter 2 Bonus Events if they have the required bonus entry time
  • Mar. 8 & 9: JAG - Junior Age Group Champs, Maui   
    • Saturday afternoon / Sunday morning - timed finals
    • Entries are based on the entry time as of Feb. 25th, not updated with swims at Champs
    • A and INV times only - no bonus no Champ

MEETS requiring SPECIAL ENTRY TIMES !

  • Mar. 13 – 16:  Sectionals, Boise, Idaho – Beaudin, Coleson, Kaiea, Morgan & Pemma 
  • Mar. 20 - 23: SW 14 & U Regionals - Sacramento, Calif - Jace & Kali
  • Mar. 27 – 29:  Kona Senior Spring Invitational, Kona
