Sakamoto Summary

Barbara Kopra

The 49th Annual Sakamoto Invitational was a fantastic competition opportunity for all fourteen ASC swimmers.  They were able to test their ability to persevere, focus, and meet the challenge of competing in a 50 meter pool.  Converted times, quick turnaround for some and long days for others created an environment that promoted the need for grit and determination.  As the deck coach for the meet, I want to congratulate all of them for meeting the challenge.  In doing so, the team earned 7th place out of 17 teams, and individuals set new ASC records & achieved new time standards.
