Week of OCt. 13

THIS Saturday, October 18th: ASC has 6 swimmers from the Senior Group competing in the Dsitance Pentathlon on Oahu:Eddy, Ema, Kali, Karolina, Leonie & Pemma. ASC has 48 swimmers competing in the Big Island Swim Meet at HPA: including four first time competitors: Grace Desseaux, Ramana Kirk, Elliot Lindsey, and Tahi Merkel.  Wanting best times for everyone!

WORKOUTS this WEEK (NO PRACTICE for GOLD on TUESDAY)

• Bronze 1: Mon & Wed, 4 – 4:40 w/Coach Barbara
• Bronze 2: Mon & Wed, 4:45 – 5:25 w/ Coach Barbara
• Silver: Mon, Wed & Thurs, 5:30 – 6:30 w/ Coach Amanda & Coach Barbara
• Gold: 5:15 - 6:30 - Mon & Thurs w/Coach Kerry, Wed w/Coach Robert - NO PRACTICE TUESDAY
• Senior: MWF – 5:45 - 7:15 AM / MTWTh 3:30 - 5:15  & F 3:30 - 5 PM w/Coach Mark

• 2025 USA Registered Swimmers, on the USA Website your USA card will show “renew now”, but you have until Dec. 15.  

BECOME AN OFFICIAL - -with 90 swimmers on the team, we need more officials to meet the quota set by our LSC, which is 1 official for every 16 swimmers – so a minimum of 6 officials.  An official is counted once they work 10 sessions. Meet Sessions start Sept. 1, 2025 and runs through Aug. 31, 2026.  We offer tuition subsidy for our officials. Officials start out as stroke and turn judges, you can check with our current certified officials: Melissa Schad, Oscar Pouoa, Robyn Scarth, Ranya Williams, new officials: Forrest McMahon &  Mahea Yamashita.  If you would like to “try” - - please contact Coach Barbara to get signed up and start the process.  You are needed and appreciated!
